LIVING IN JOY
Embodying the Archetypes of the Hero’s Journey
Living in Joy invites you to discover the unity of experience that is your true nature. This creative arts training is structured as an exploration of The Hero’s Journey which provides a mythological story for healing.
In this story you are invited to engage with 12 archetypal energies, from the Innocent and Seeker to the Ruler and the Wise Fool. You will journey from childhood to maturity, exploring such themes as identity, freedom, authenticity and power. Using movement, guided imagery, art process, discussion and journaling, you will gain a deeper appreciation for and access to the jewels that are buried deep within the mystery of your life.

Space is limited
CEU’s and academic credit are available from Sonoma State University.

HEALING THE MOTHERLINE
EXPLORING THE FEMININE FROM THE PERSONAL TO THE SACRED

In this 2 day creative arts therapy course designed for both men and women, we will explore the impact of the Feminine on our lives personally, socially and spiritually. In a safe and playful environment, using art process, movement, guided imagery and writing, we travel deep into the images and stories of our feminine ancestry.

On the first day we look at patterns of behavior and core beliefs inherited from the Motherline. On the second day we address body image, issues of power and our relationship to the Sacred Feminine. Art materials included in course fee.

Spiral of Healing
Embracing body wisdom Through Art and Movement

In these high stress and fearful times our biggest resource is our is our connection to bodily. In learning to understand it's feeling language and follow its sensate guidance, we can reclaim our personal power and live the lives we were born to live, in love and gratitude. In this introductory course, participants experience Somatic Art Therapy and its impact on healing, using movement and art process in a playful and regenerating way.

During the class you will:

  • Understand imagery and the arts are used for healing physical, psychological and spiritual somatizations of trauma.
  • Learn about the chakras and how these energy centers of the body impact the storage and release of traumatic memory.
  • Learn in a safe and playful environment how to release stress and other somatic effects of early trauma, illness, injury or pain.
  • Learn to relate differently to your body using the creative arts.

SOMATIC AND CREATIVE ARTS SUPPORT GROUP

Join other women in a safe and supportive environment

of ritual, movement, art process and group sharing. We will hold sacred the idea that change is an opportunity and an initiation into a deeper connection with self and the Mystery of life.

This group is designed to support women who are healing from trauma or loss, in transition, or who have work,relationship or physical challenges.
